Obviously their relationship in canon has improved alot partially due to Shigaraki's development as a character but Dabi is now often referred to as his 'right hand man' and it's clear that Shigaraki trusts Dabi to do his own thing despite Dabi's lone wolf attitude. They really do complete each other, it's like Shigaraki is the heart of the League Of Villains while Dabi fulfills the role of the mind since he's the more ideological of the two.
I know this ship is an extremely rare pair and that they haven't really interacted in canon but people don't seem to realize how much they have in common.Įven though it's highly unlikely that they'd open up to each other about their trauma any time soon, they both know what it's like to be groomed rather than raised to be successors by their father/father figure which led to them becoming villains.
Neither of them want to seem weak, so they hide their insecurities by acting cocky as if they're better than everyone else.
